TAIJUTSU FOUNDATION PROGRAMME 2026

We are pleased to announce that our popular Taijutsu Foundation Programme will take place again next year, thanks to the generous support of the Manchester City Council and the Parklife Community Fund.

Participants of the Taijutsu Foundation Programme by Bee-Safe Manchester CIC will learn the basic techniques, movements and floor exercises to complete their White Belt with Yellow Stripe in Taijutsu.

The Programme will run for 12 weeks from 26th January to 25th April 2026. Participants train 1x60min session per week.

Grading takes place on Saturday, 5th April 2025 from 1pm – 2pm

Classes take place at St. Andrew’s Community Hall, Longhurst Road, Blackley, M9 8NS or at Crumpsall Methodist Church, Lansdowne Road, Crumpsall, M8 5ST

Recommended Donation: £2.50 per session

What is included in the Programme?

  • 12 one-hour sessions of Taijutsu training (please choose your timeslot in the application form)
  • Bee-Safe Manchester T-Shirt
  • Grading Fee for White Belt with Yellow Stripe, including belt and certificate
  • Taijutsu Junior Workbook 1 + plus video tutorials
  • free adult training once a week for parents/carers

Who can apply?

This programme is available to students of any school in  Higher Blackley or  Crumpsall. You must be a resident of Manchester.

Successful completion of the Taijutsu Foundation Programme requires at least 80% attendance of classes + attendance at the grading session.
